Katt Lopes Vallee
Once you meet Katt, you understand immediately why she was so drawn to become dual licensed as a massage therapist and esthetician. She exudes the gratitude her profession has given her to be able to work with her hands to make a difference in people’s lives.
Katt’s massage specialty is to do injury and triggerpoint to help her guests find relief. Her highly attuned skill set also includes specific work for pre-natal and oncology clients. Her level of knowledge and resoursefulness paves the way for her to figure out the solution to the issue that her client may be undergoing….whether on the skin or the muscular/skeletal systems. All modalities of her work give her an immense level of pride and satisfaction.
When not at work, Katt keeps herself very busy yet balanced. While she has two little ones at home, she carves out time for herself to enjoy reading (favorite book: The Power of Now by Ekahart Tolle), gardening, painting, and singing.
You can book your massages or skin care services (why not both at the same time?) with Katt Wednesdays, Thursday, Fridays and Saturdays.
Jackie McGourty
You will know it when you meet Jackie McGourty as her positive attitude is infectious. We have never seen her without a smile on her face and an inspiring word to say to all. Jackie is our Operations Manager and is a tremendous help to us in many of the behind the scene projects we constantly have going on. Her organizational skills keep us all on track and heading in the right direction. She strives (and, in our opinion, succeeds) to make a difference in peoples’ lives even if it is making someone’s day just a bit brighter.
Jackie lives with her husband, Eric, in a 250+ old house. Their German Shepherd, Hugo, allows them to live there! They enjoy doing the work it takes to maintain a beautiful antique home.
While not working, Jackie has many varied interests that keep her busy including reading, anything to do with crafting, cooking, baking and working out. She loves to entertain regularly and her attention to detail is glaringly evident. One of her favorite movies is Polar Express because (in her words) “we all have to believe in something special”. That tells all about Jackie!
Nikki Banfield
Nikki’s career path became pretty clear when she would cut and braid the hair on her Barbie dolls as a young girl. For over 30 years she has been servicing her clients in the hair industry and loving every moment of it. Seeing 3 generations of clients is something Nikki is very proud of. It is the relationships she has forged with all of her very long term clients while making them feel and look their best that lights her fire for her career.
Nikki and her husband, Rich, have been married for 20 years and are the proud care takers of 2 cats, Sammi Hagar and Angus Young. They also have several nieces and nephews that hold a special place in their hearts.
When not at work, Nikki never lets the dust settle on her. She is an avid line dancer and an incredible cook and baker. And if you are lucky enough to receive a beautiful card from her, the chances are very high that she made it herself! Her creativity flows in all sorts of gorgeous ways.
Nikki is available to take clients for hair services Wednesdays-Saturdays. Call early….with 30+ years of clients, her book fills up quickly!
Chuck Conklin
Even though Chuck knew he wanted to be a hair stylist from a young age, the universe had different roads for him to take before he realized his dream at 42 years old. He took those lessons he learned along the way applying them to his career. He describes himself as a “self-professed color geek”! He really does have an amazing ability to guide a client to the right hair color and to help them maintain it.
Do you have a couple of hours to talk about classic cars? Then Chuck is your guy to do it with! He is so passionate about them that he even has a collection of 1/64 scale diecast cars. We often see him in some fun and funky car t-shirts, as well. One of the ways he loves to spend time his free time is to go cruising with no destination in mind in either his dad’s 1931 Ford Model A roadster or his partner Jeffrey’s ‘67 Ford Mustang Sprinter.
Chuck has worked in Boston for his entire career and we are honored that he has brought his unique talents to Westborough. He is our Master Colorist/Stylist here at Lindsay Taylor SPAtique and is here to take clients Wednesday-Saturday. As we often hear him say around the salon as words of encouragement to all…..“Right on!”
SARA ROWE
With 20 years of experience in the industry, Sara is well versed in all things hair! She comes to us with a passion for cutting and making each client look their best and, even more importantly, feel their best. Though she is well versed in everything hair, Sara is always invested in her career...taking classes and observing and asking questions of her fellow stylists.
Sara’s time outside of the salon is spent with varied artistic hobbies. When you see her fun jewelry, chances are she made it. She is also an incredibly gifted knitter. Her sense of style comes through her hands and heart on so many levels of talent.
Guiding her daughter, Stella, through her teen years is Sara’s true calling. She is very devoted to her well being as well as all of the fur babies in the house.
Sara is available to service her hair clients on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and most Saturdays. She is always happy to do a consultation with you before your services to find out what is going to work best for you.
Pam Markey
It is no surprise that Pam has been a hair stylist for 20 years. She always had a “thing” for hair and would even play hairdresser as a kid. After high school she attended the Arthur Angelo School of Cosmetology in Providence and has not looked back since.
At the center of Pam’s career is her gratitude for each and every client - past and present. She humbly acknowledges that they have many choices of stylists and she so appreciates that they choose to sit in her chair. While she feels that her attention to detail for both coloring and cutting is part of her secret to success, it is the connection with her clients through open and transparent communication that she strives to achieve daily.
Besides working at Lindsay Taylor SPAtique as a stylist 2 days a week, she keeps up a hectic schedule personally. . Pam’s husband and children keep her busy with their various activities. She is also a very active volunteer in the schools and on a board in her town. She is also surrounded by the rest of her amazing family including her parents, brother, sister, and inlaws.
Pam is available for all of your hair needs on Wednesday and Thursdays during the day.
Tricia Lawyer
Tricia’s love and zest for life shines through in everything she does. Luckily for her clients, it especially shines through her hands and heart for her massage practice. She has always been drawn to alternative forms of healing but did not decide to pursue massage as a career until more recently. Her full time job as Mom Extraordinaire has kept her pretty busy.
The focus of Tricia’s massage work is on the therapeutic side of the work. She would eventually like to pursue education in some form of energy work but for now she is happy to offer her clients some pretty awesome deep tissue massage as her specialty work. Her knowledge of the anatomy of the body and its ability to hold onto both physical and emotional pain spurns her on to help her clients release that and move back toward full mobility and function. You can see why she is our Massage Department Manager!
Reading Tricia’s favorite passage gives you a huge glimpse into her true self. “I will not die an unlived life. I will not live in fear of falling or catching fire. I choose to inhabit my days, to allow my living to open me, to make me less afraid, more accessible, to loosen my heart until it becomes a wing, a torch, a promise. I chose to risk my significance; to live so that which came to me as a seed goes to the next as a blossom and that which came to me as a blossom, goes on as fruit.”
Tricia sees clients on Tuesdays, every other Wednesday evening, Thursdays and every other Saturday.
Jake Keavney
Jake’s easy going spirit makes him the perfect fit for working our front desk. We love when clients come in and thank him for being so helpful to them when he is scheduling their service appointments. That tells us all we need to know about him!
Since he grew up in Westborough, Jake is very familiar with the area. He is a busy guy as he is working on his online degree from Purdue. Additionally, he is a budding DJ and spends every weekend in Boston having so much fun with getting everyone on the dance floor. He is the creator of all of our salon and spa playlists.
Stop by the desk to say hello to Jake the next time you are in!
Katie Stevens
Katie joined our team as an esthetician immediately after graduating from the Elizabeth Grady School of Esthetics and Massage Therapy. She has definitely found her calling and has continued to learn and grow with us while adding new modalities to her service offerings. To see her get so excited about helping her clients with their skin issues is really something special.
While she has so many passions that she pursues outside of her work life, the two most important are her dogs, Olive and Roscoe. Additionally she is very musically talented and collects different musical instruments. She is also mom to many house plants!

Barbara Boykin
After a very full career in the financial world, Barbara decided to go back to school for esthetics to bring her passion for skin care to the spa world. She graduated from Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics in 2018 and has demonstrated her professionalism on every level ever since. We love her constant quest for more knowledge and wanting to add additional services for her clients to see the best results for glowing skin.
Outside of the spa, Barbara keeps herself quite busy. She is a very committed volunteer for several different organizations for whose mission she believes in. Additionally, she loves to travel, garden, read and attend cultural events.
You can book your facial treatments and waxing with Barbara on Tuesdays, Thursdays and every other Saturday. We know you will enjoy her attention to detail for your service.
Jessica Cesare
Being a competitive cheerleader for several years opened Jessica’s eyes to the world of hairdressing. She was either getting her hair done or helping her teammates with their hair and it sparked a flame of creativity inside of her that still burns brightly. After receiving her degree in mathematics from Rhode Island College, Jessica ended up returning to school to get her cosmetology license.
While she lives in MA, Jessica returns to Connecticut often to spend time with her parents and sister with whom she is particularly close. In her own words, her favorite topic to talk about is her dog, Dakota. She especially enjoys going on hikes with her husband and Dakota on her down time.
Jessica feels that part of the secret to her success is to truly listen to her client and forming a relationship with them so she can understand their wants and needs for their hair. Another part of the formula for her is to practice, practice, practice. She loves learning new things and being able to add new services to her offerings. Her passion is definitely blonding services - particularly balayage/”lived in color”.
At present, Jessica is with us on a part time basis and you can book your hair services with her on Saturdays.
Andrea Blomgren
Being a facilitator of healing for the mind, body and soul in the form of body work is what drew Andrea to the field of massage therapy. Her mission of healing becomes very evident once you have a session with her and feel the energy and knowledge that comes through her hands. Her years of experience as a massage therapist have honed her skills and allowed her to specialize in deep tissue work.
Andrea is driven by passion in everything that she does. She is a lover of all forms of art and anything that brings a state of flow. She loves to travel and spend her time outdoors. She is also amazing with a hoola hoop around her!
Andrea is available for massage sessions on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and every other Saturday. The word has gotten out about her amazing gifts so be sure to book early!
Taryn Cavallo
Having struggled herself with problematic skin in her teen years led Taryn to her passion for helping others going through the same issues. She remembers how it effected her confidence and is driven to be the conduit of information for proper skin care for her clients. Her journey brought her to SpaTech Institute to become a licensed esthetician and she has not looked back!
Taryn’s level of commitment to her career is evident as she takes advanced courses to specialize in different treatments and services to offer to her clients. Her time out of the spa is spent with her new puppy, Toby, and exploring all of what Boston has to offer. She may also be found curled up under a fuzzy blanket watching her favorite Disney movie (Tangled) with a big bowl of popcorn. And we completely agree with her favorite quote…..”Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself” - Coco Chanel.
Taryn takes clients for all esthetics services Tuesday through Friday and every other Saturday. Her online reviews tell the story!
